Quarter 1
Ancient Civilizations
First we had to make a rankings chart on each of our four ancient civilizations. Then depending on how many points they got we each choose the one with the most points. Then we made a map of the four ancient civilzations and rivers. Then we reasearched the civilzation we each choosen. Next we made models of something that was from that country. Finally we made presentations and presented them to the class. I thought it was fun.

Next our class had a debate on if ancient Saprta or Athens were better than each other.
First we researched about these two civilizations to know their sterenghs and weaknesses.
Next we made stuff like posters and movies to talk about why the civilization was better than the other.
In my option it was fun.

Quarter 2
Going going Greek
Now we're learning about Greeks gods and godesses. Our individual is our modern day hero and greek my we each choose. ( Find more info on the Language arts page.) And make a presentation on them.
Then we have our partner project. We and our partner choose a minor greek god that deserves a temple.

Our next project was making a greek temple. First we made a Temple Contract and then built our Blueprint. The Rest was simple, make a Temple with any materiel, and give it everything that any Temple would have.

The next project was all about Ancient Rome. This was a multiple Path Project so we could start anywhere we wanted. There were many projects. From making a typical Roman Home to Making Three Artifacts about Ancient Roman Culture.
Quarter 3
My mayan
The first project of the third quarter was the Mayans. The first thing we did was a map assignment. Next, we anwsered questions on a Google Doc. Then, we made cut out pictures and put them on a giant sheet of paper. Finally we read and anwsered questions on the collapse of the Mayans. Good project, really fun.
